Terms of service

• Findwell is launching soon and currently costs nothing. Things will change and occasionally break.
• Your saves are yours. We only process them to run the service for you.
• The posts you save belong to their creators. We link to them; we don’t host them.
• Don’t use Findwell to break the law, harm people, or attack the service.
• We can’t promise search is always right, and our liability is limited.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Findwell. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. By creating an account, texting the service, or using the app, you accept them and our privacy policy. Findwell is currently available in the United States.

Your phone number is your account. Keep your phone secure: anyone who can receive texts at your number can sign in. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access. One account per person. We may close accounts that are inactive for a long time, after telling you first.

When you sign up you agree to receive texts from Findwell: verification codes, replies to the links and questions you send, and occasional notices about your account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and START to resume; reply HELP for help. Details are in the messaging policy.

You keep whatever rights you have in the links, messages, and notes you send us. You give Findwell permission to store and process them, including generating transcripts, summaries, and tags, so we can provide the service to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that clear on their own schedule and records we must keep by law.

You are responsible for what you save. Only save content you are allowed to access, and don’t use Findwell to collect content in ways that violate another platform’s rules.

Posts you save are owned by their creators and hosted by the platforms they were posted on. Findwell keeps a thumbnail and the text it read so you can find your own saves, and always links back to the original. We do not host, stream, or redistribute video or audio, and we do not give anyone else access to your library.

If you believe content in Findwell infringes your rights, email hello@getfindwell.app with the link and a description of the issue. We respond to valid notices, including those under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, by removing the material.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or anyone else’s rights using the service.
• Send spam, abusive messages, or content that is illegal or harmful.
• Overload, probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service, or bypass its rate limits.
• Resell or offer Findwell as your own service.

We apply limits on how much can be saved and processed so one person’s use doesn’t degrade the service for everyone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Findwell is in beta. Features may change, pause, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you in advance and nothing will be charged without your agreement. We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will notify you before it takes effect, and continuing to use Findwell afterwards means you accept it.

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms or if we shut the service down, in which case we will give you notice and a chance to export your library where we reasonably can.

Findwell is provided as is. Search results, transcripts, summaries, tags, and extracted details like recipe steps or job deadlines are generated automatically and can be wrong. Check the original before relying on them. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a saved post will remain available on its original platform.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Findwell and the people who make it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, email us and we will try to sort it out within 30 days. Claims that can’t be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California (San Jose), and you agree to their jurisdiction.

These terms, together with the privacy policy and messaging policy, are the whole agreement between you and Findwell, Inc. about the service. If part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else.
